Julia Limongello

Julia Limongello is a seasoned real estate development and design professional with two decades of experience across residential, commercial, institutional, and hospitality sectors.
Drawing on her dual background in architecture and development, Julia approaches each project with a holistic perspective — integrating design, technical expertise and strategic insight to deliver enduring value for clients.

Before founding Acanthus, Julia served as a Director at The Durst Organization in New York City, where she managed large-scale development projects from acquisition and entitlement through design, construction, and operations turnover. Her work at Durst encompassed more than $2.5 billion in new construction and over 2,500 residential units, alongside 300,000 square feet of commercial space.
Key projects included One World Trade Center, EOS Nomad, VIA 57 West, and SVEN LIC in New York City, as well as the Vine Street site and proposals for the Market Street and Marina Basin Sites at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia.
A native Philadelphian, Julia began her career as an architect, contributing to projects for the Garces Group, Le Meridien, Mastery Charter Schools, and the Radnor Township School District. -
